Carol Carlson, Ph.D.
Licensed Psychologist
Dr. Carlson works with children ages 13 and older, and with adults of all ages. For children and families, she specializes in parenting strategies, school strategies, and difficulties associated with developmental issues (such as transitions around adolescence). Dr. Carlson also works closely with adults with a particular focus on the assessment and treatment of anxiety and depression, and difficulties associated with older adulthood. She is also available to provide clinical supervision to other mental health providers.
Claudine M. Lochard , Ph.D.

Dr. Lochard provides individual and family therapy. She is available to conduct general psychological assessments as well as capacity evaluations. Her areas of focus include treatment of depressive and anxiety disorders, stress, anger, and pain management, in addition to smoking cessation and biofeedback. Services also address issues involving adjustment issues, career counseling/development, bereavement counseling, improving personal well-being and relationships. Dr. Lochard uses an integrative cognitive-behavioral approach to psychotherapy.
Gavin H. Taylor, D.Clin.Psy.

Dr. Taylor is available to work with teenagers and adults aged 16 and over. He is experienced in working with a variety of mental health problems, including depression and anxiety. His main treatment approaches involve Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Committment Therapy (ACT). Dr Taylor's area of specialty is the assessment and treatment of emotional or cognitive deficits associated with acquired/traumatic brain injury, neurological diseases and other chronic illness. Dr. Taylor is also available to complete neuropsychological assessments to inform diagnoses and treatment.
Dr. Taylor completed his doctoral and post-doctoral training in clinical psychology at the University of Glasgow, Scotland, where he published work on emotional adjustment after stroke, cardiac rehabilitation, and post-stroke cognitive rehabilitation.

Joanne Malkani, Ph.D.

Dr. Malkani works with children, ages 3 and older, adolescents, and adults of all ages. Her speciality areas include working with children, adolescents, couples, and families dealing with trauma and adjustment issues as well as treating anxiety, mood, and stress-related disorders. Dr. Malkani's approach combines cognitive-behavioral therapy with mindfulness techniques in order to acknowledge and honor the mind-body connection.
Elizabeth Piusz, Psy.D.

Dr. Piusz is a New York State Licensed Psychologist and a Certified School Psychologist. She earned her doctorate in School Psychology at the University at Albany, State University of New York. Dr. Piusz is available to work with children, adolescents and adults of all ages. Dr. Piusz has experience implementing therapeutic strategies to address a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and emotion/behavior regulation. She is also knowledgeable in conducting psychoeducational evaluations for individuals with learning challenges and behavioral regulation difficulties. Dr. Piusz has experience implementing Dialectical Behavior Therapy and utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches in her practice including cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, and trauma-informed strategies.
Estelle Giles-Monroe, MSW, LCSW-R

Estelle works with adolescents, young adults, women, couples, parents, and families. She is experienced in working with clients of diverse backgrounds and cultures, and employs a clinical style that is client-centered and solution-focused, while also utilizing cognitive-behavioral techniques. Estelle specializes in treating anxiety and depression, trauma, coping with chronic illness, problems specific to blended families, concerns impacting the LGBT community, addiction recovery, and support for clients struggling with body and eating disorders.
